Yes!  We forumlate our products to keep your hair at its healthiest.

If we ever carry any products that are not method friendly, it will be noted on the product page.

• Plopping is a method of drying your hair that allows your curls to stay in tact after styling.
• Plopping wavy/curly/coily hair allows removal of excess water while retaining the natural pattern. 
• Plopping does not manipulate your hair like twisting towels.  
• Plopping also allows those with long hair to dry their hair without the weight of water and products elongating the curl as the hair dries.

Yes! That may be surprising but it’s true.  When testing our products we test on all hair types from 2a – 4c.  Part of our mission here at Scrunch It is to make sure we have products for all hair types.

Unfortunately we do not offer preorders at this time.  You can sign up for a notification when the product comes back in stock.  We also post when we have restocked on our social media.

We have found that those with larger patterns (2a-3b) like the brush with comfort tips and those with smaller patterns (3c-4c) like the brush without comfort tips.  It really is just a matter of personal preference.

The Large Clump Brush

This brush was designed for those with larger patterns (2a -3b).  The synthetic boar bristles allow for smoothing while also detangling.  This brush can be used for large curl definition by twisting the brush as you style.  That doesn't mean that this brush can't be used for smaller patterns.  It can assit with larger clumps for those who prefer a less voluminous style.

The Small Clump Brush

This brush was created for those with smaller patterns (3c-4c).   The synthetic boar bristles allow for smoothing while the prongs allow for smaller pattern seperation and definition.  That doesn't mean this brush can't be used by other patterns. This brush is also good for those who are looking to add volume to their looks.

In addition, we often repost videos of customers on our Facebook and Instagram pages.  These videos help give examples of how the brushes and other products work on varying hair types.

Method 1

• Flip your hair forward.
• Starting from the back of your head, pull the Scrunch It forward allowing your hair to fall into the cap.
• Squeeze excess water from your hair (Scrunch It Plop), then scrunch your cap to the desired length and secure the cord.

Method 2

• Flip your hair forward.
• Place cap open on a surface in front of you.
• Place ends of your hair into the cap and raise it, keeping your hair within the cap.
• Secure cap around the back of your head to desired tightness
• Squeeze excess water from your hair (Scrunch It Plop), then scrunch your cap to the desired length and secure the cord.

Scrunch It Plop (Formerly known as the Scrunch It Shower)

The Scrunch It Plop is our original absorbant Scrunch It.   It's patented design allows you to dry your curls in a weightless and undisturbed environment while leaving your hands free to perform other tasks. The Plop is made from a very absorabant microfiber to pull the excess water out of your hair.  It is designed to be used on wet hair.

Scrunch It Breathe

The Scrunch It Breathe uses the same patented design as the Scrunch It Plop but the mesh fabric allows for undisturbed diffusing or air drying.  While going to bed with wet hair is frowned upon, the Breathe allows air flow to your curls allowing them to air dry. The Breathe can be used with either dry or wet hair and can be slept in overnight.

Scrunch It Sleep

The Scrunch It Sleep combines the patented Scrunch It design with the benefits of a satin sleep cap.  The satin weave allows for moisture retention, less breakage, less tangling, and preservation of hairstyle overnight while you sleep.

Scrunch it T

The Scrunch It T is back by popular demand.  The Scrunch It T can be used on wet or dry hair but is lighter than the microfiber of the Plop. The thin material allows for the water absorbed to dry quickly. 

If machine washing your Scrunch It, place the Scrunch It in a mesh washing bag designed for delicates.  Wash on cold and tumble dry low. Settings for delicates are the most appropriate for your Scrunch It cap. You can also handwash and hang dry your Scrunch It Cap which is the safest and preferred method.  

The Scrunch It Sleep is made from a satin weave which has multiple hair benefits.

Less Breakage and Split Ends

Cotton is abrasive to hair and when your hair rubs against your pillowcase during the night it damages the hair's cuticle. When the hair's cuticle is damaged the hair loooses moisture more quickly.  This leads to breakage, split ends, and a difficulty maintaning your length. Your hair also will be less tangled and knotted which can lead to breakage.

Hairstyle Retention

Who doesn't love a quick morning routine?  When you sleep with a satin head covering, your hair looks fresher and reduces the "bedhead" effect.  This reduces the need to refresh every morning. By not having to use cilps, scrunchies, or bands to tie up your hair at night you'll find that you no longer have the creases and marks in your hair pattern when you wake up in the morning.

Moisture Retention

The satin weave makes the material non absorbant.  This means your hairs moisture and natural oils won't be absorbed, drying out your hair, overnight. 

The Scrunch It Breathe has the flexibility of being used on both wet and dry hair.  The mesh fabric allows for the option to air dry or use with a dryer/diffuser. It can also be used as a sleep cap for those who want air flow throughout their curls during the night. 

One and Done is a stronger hold gel than Ploppin' Curls.  One and Done also contains a flaxseed gel and we have eliminated the PEG silcone that was in the original Ploppin' Curls.

Shipping insurance allows us to assist you in the event the postal service misplaces your package.  If you do not purchase shipping insurance Scrunch It is not liable or responsible for any isses with any postal carriers and you will have to take the issue up with your postal carrier.

By not purchasing shipping insurance you are saying that you understand that Scrunch It will be unable to assist you should something happen to your package in transit.

Scrunch It is not liable for addressing errors on the part of the customer.  We will be happy to invoice you for the cost of re-shipping your items to the correct address.

International shipping can often take between 30 - 60 buisnes days.  

Shipping is calculated when you checkout and is based on your address.  Please note that Scrunch It charges only what the service carrier charges for shipping and never charges packing or handling fees.

If your country charges customs or import tax, you will be responsible for those fees. Scrunch It has no say on if you are charged customs fees or import tax and cannot control the amount of customs fees charged by individual countries.  

Note:  If you choose not to pay these fees Scrunch It does not recieve the package back and you will not recieve a refund of any amount paid.  As noted on our product pages all Scrunch It sales are final.

We only charge what the carrier charges. Unfortunately sometimes carriers increase their rates.

If you recieved a defective items we will replace it or exchange it.  Send a photo of the defect to contact@scrunchit.com along with your order number so we can process your claim.

We offer shipping protection on all purchases. If shipping protection was not purchased you will have to take up the issue with your post office as we are not responsible or liable for their errors. We offer shipping protection in every cart to protect you, our customers.

If you purchased shipping protection please email contact@scrunchit.com with your order number.

Please note: The post office has been marking packages as delivered sometimes several days before actual delivery.  This is unfortunately out of our control.  So please give it a couple of days before emailing.

Due to the fact that all of our products are personal hygiene items, we cannot accept returns.  If there is a defect, please contact us for a replacement at contact@scrunchit.com.  All Scrunch It product sales are final.
